The day kicks off with a community clean-up in McDougall-Hunt followed by our Green Fest at the Hub. The day wraps up with a solar driven party and rebroadcast of the Charles H. Wright Museum Earth Day concert and awards for our Race to the Bottom waste reduction contest. We will be collecting household hazardous materials, expired medicines, and shredding as well. Special guests from City of Detroit, Plastic Oceans, University of Michigan, Smallville Farms, Detroit Green Taskforce, and more!
